About the guide

Portland Premium is an independent guide to premium interior design for homes in Dubai and across the UAE.

The guides are written for owners who are about to plan a villa or apartment interior, commission a fit-out or buy furniture that has to last. Each one follows the order in which decisions are actually made on a project, so the expensive choices come first and the finishing touches come last.

How we write

The guides are written and edited by the Portland Premium editors. We keep advice practical and general. Where something depends on the building, the developer, the budget or the supplier, we say so and list the questions to ask, rather than quoting prices, lead times or rules that may not apply to your project.

We do not publish testimonials, invented case studies or sponsored rankings.
